When is a payment due for services?

Payment is due immediately upon receipt of invoice for the services rendered.
Packages and plans are pre-paid in full. Monthly or annual packages or plans are set up on a monthly billing cycle.
Payment for purchases, products, items, merchandise, materials, goods and services, and any other expenses, charges or taxes incurred on the client’s behalf in order to perform the work or service requested is the responsibility of the client and they must be pre-paid in full.
Deposits may be required for certain services such as event planning or production services or other services, or by any service that involves a third-party vendor, supplier, contractor, sub-contractor and/or any other type of service provider. Deposits and subsequent payments to the vendor/supplier/contractor are the responsibility of the client and must be paid in full by the client as per the vendor’s contract terms and conditions.

What is an Instant License?

The instant license is an initiative of the Department of Economic Development, Dubai. What are free zones?

A Free Zone is a separate physical entity with its own set of rules and regulations.

Free zones in the UAE are business zones where companies operating in them are exempt from taxation such as Income Tax, Corporate Tax and Customs. All Goods imported in the Free Zone are exempt from 5% Customs Duty .  Business owners in the free zone areas have 100% ownership of the business, the company registered without local UAE citizen. The aim of these zones is to encourage foreign investment and promote economic activity in the country. There are around 40 Free Zones in the UAE, each of them has its own advantages and limitations. As  Free Zone company, by law, you cannot conduct business with an onshore unless through a Onshore Distributor.

Why is a free zone company not allowed to do business in Mainland?

Free Zones are designated areas that allow business to be conducted only within the particular free zones and internationally. As the free zone companies are governed by the free zone licensing authority, they do not fall under the jurisdiction of the Mainland Department of Economic Development. Therefore a free zone company cannot do business in Mainland.

How can free zone businesses do business in Mainland?

Free zone jurisdictions do not permit companies registered under free zone authorities to do business in Mainland. Most trading companies in free zone are completely restricted to do business in Mainland, certain professional activities are given a leverage.

However, in case a restricted free zone company wants to do business in the Mainland, specific licensing and documentation is required. Such free zone companies would have to obtain appropriate licenses from the Department of Economic Development of the Emirate in which it intends to practice Mainland business.

    Offer Letter: Once the quota is approved, the offer letter needs to be typed from the MOHRE Tas’heel Centre and get signature and Thumb Impression from the Employee. If the employee is out of the county, the offer letter can be emailed and on signing, the documents can be scanned for submission. (1 day processing)
  • Third Step:
    Work Permit: Once you receive the signed Offer Letter, Work Permit application needs to be typed at the MOHRE Tas’heel along with the signed offer letter
    Kindly note for certain Designation attested Education Certificate is required from UAE embassy where it took place and from MOFA UAE. (Approval will come after 2 to 4 working days depending on the Nationality.)
  • Fourth Step:
    Labour Card: The MOHRE Fee needs to be paid.

If the customer is from GCC countries and has a driving license, does he need to exchange it or can he use it to drive in Dubai?

A GCC national is allowed to drive with his own driving license as long as he is on a visit trip but if he is working and living in UAE, then he must exchange the driving license.

What are the drinking laws in Dubai?

UAE is under Sharia law, but that doesn’t mean you are completely banned from drinking in the country. Dubai’s licensing laws require venues serving alcohol be attached to hotels or a private clubs. What are free zones?

A Free Zone is a separate physical entity with its own set of rules and regulations.

Free zones in the UAE are business zones where companies operating in them are exempt from taxation such as Income Tax, Corporate Tax and Customs. All Goods imported in the Free Zone are exempt from 5% Customs Duty .  Business owners in the free zone areas have 100% ownership of the business, the company registered without local UAE citizen. The aim of these zones is to encourage foreign investment and promote economic activity in the country. There are around 40 Free Zones in the UAE, each of them has its own advantages and limitations. As  Free Zone company, by law, you cannot conduct business with an onshore unless through a Onshore Distributor.

Why is a free zone company not allowed to do business in Mainland?

Free Zones are designated areas that allow business to be conducted only within the particular free zones and internationally. As the free zone companies are governed by the free zone licensing authority, they do not fall under the jurisdiction of the Mainland Department of Economic Development. Therefore a free zone company cannot do business in Mainland.

How can free zone businesses do business in Mainland?

Free zone jurisdictions do not permit companies registered under free zone authorities to do business in Mainland. Most trading companies in free zone are completely restricted to do business in Mainland, certain professional activities are given a leverage.

However, in case a restricted free zone company wants to do business in the Mainland, specific licensing and documentation is required. Such free zone companies would have to obtain appropriate licenses from the Department of Economic Development of the Emirate in which it intends to practice Mainland business.

    Offer Letter: Once the quota is approved, the offer letter needs to be typed from the MOHRE Tas’heel Centre and get signature and Thumb Impression from the Employee.   • Third Step:
    Work Permit: Once you receive the signed Offer Letter, Work Permit application needs to be typed at the MOHRE Tas’heel along with the signed offer letter

  • Fourth Step:
